The crash happened in the southbound lanes at 90th Avenue SW around 1:15 p.m. A Calgary EMS spokesperson says STARS Air Ambulance was called to take the patient to hospital, but he was pronounced dead before they could be transported. The victim’s age and gender are not yet known. The crash closed the southbound lanes of the road between 90th Avenue SW and Glenmore Trail SW while police investigated.
